There’s a rumor that a certain green beverage is very popular at establishments across the United States on St. Patrick’s day, so what better time than this week for a video on The Chemistry of Beer? The American Chemical Society (ACS) today released such a video shot at one of the nation’s most popular breweries –– Samuel Adams in Boston –– to tell the story of how this brew is created.

brew kettle because of the small size of the brewery.]
The American Chemical Society's Office of Public Affairs' new pressroom blog highlights prominent research from ACS' 41 journals.
